The Bob Pringle Fellowship
Bob’s passion for Stanford and the deep caring he had for others are qualities that also characterize the mission of the Office of Undergraduate Advising and Research (UAR), a unit within the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. Led by Stanford’s Dean of Freshmen and Undergraduate Advising Julie Lythcott-Haims, ’89, and the strong team she has assembled, UAR introduces students to the full intellectual richness of undergraduate study at Stanford, supports students in their academic and intellectual pursuits, and instills within them a deep sense of identity and of belonging to the community of scholars at Stanford.
Award:
# $5,000 stipend plus additional funding to cover summer housing if needed
# An opportunity to impact the Stanford experience of the incoming freshman class and subsequent classes.
