Awarded for The Clothes Collection of South Africa in the Luanda International Fair

Angolan First Lady, Ana Paula dos Santos, o Sunday was distinguished with the “Event’s Personality” award, in the first edition of the International Fair of Fashion, Feasts and Decorations “Expo-Bodas/2008″, held on September 24-28, ANGOP has learnt.
The prize given to Ana Paula dos Santos- a certificate and a Golden Lion- is due to the support she has given for the holding of the event and to the dynamics of fashion all over the country.
Awards were also attributed in the categories of Best Angolan Fashion Designer to the Angolan Lisete Pote and Best Revelation to the Angolan designer Avelino.
With regard to foreign participation, were awarded the clothes collection of South Africa’s Caducci Agency. For the best fashion shop was nominated Hanah Gioias Jewel Agency.
Kalçados Angolan stand got best boutique prize and for the categories of best stand and rent-a-car the prizes went to Nova Maraju Angolan agency and Ritek Rent-a-Car tourism firm.
All awarded firms received a golden Lion and a certificate of participation.
Making a balance of the event, the manager of the Luanda International Fair (Filda), Matos Cardoso, has considered the event as positive as it has allowed an interaction among the public and respective experts of the sector.
Matos Cardoso announced that similar events will take place in other provinces.
